One of those chats that stays with you

I recently had the pleasure of talking with Paul Nixon and his Vodafone colleagues about leading through uncertainty, the hidden dynamics of team performance and my work with horses to help leaders and teams communicate more effectively, especially when opinions are diverse or people aren’t doing what you need them to do.

We received some great feedback, with one person saying “one of the most engaging speakers recently” with “insights that were easy to understand and implement”.

I know how hard it can be to lead in a large organisation so telling stories about horses and making it relevant to what leaders actually do on a day to day basis is at the core of what I do, whether on a podcast or as a speaker.

To the left is what Paul posted on LinkedIn too.

And Paul raises some key points too:

  • How are you zooming out to reconnect with what really matters?

  • What impact are you having on yourself, others and the wider system?

Here’s to more conversations like this.
