A Phoenix conversation - on the edge of change

I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Lucy McCarraher MBE on her Phoenix Conversations podcast.

Lucy is a force for change, especially for women. She’s the co-founder of Rethink Press, founder of the Business Book Awards, where she championed women to write more business books after realising that all the winners were all men. She’s also the founder of Bookmagic.ai. She hosts podcasts and masterminds, and has written numerous non-fiction as well as fiction books.

In her 70s, she has an energy force way below her years on the planet and is one of the kindest, thoughtful and successful business leaders I’ve ever met.

You can probably tell I’d quite like to be like her when I grow up!

Reinvention or evolution?

So being invited onto her podcast where she interviews people about their reinvention of themselves is quite an honour.

Lucy has this disarming way of being quietly curious about your life, which encourages the interviewee to share things that are not normally shared in public life.

I talk about my childhood growing up, the connection to nature and how I overcame my fear of horses to now working with them for the last 15 years.

Here’s the Youtube video of the conversation and you can also find the Phoenix Conversations podcast on the usual platforms like Apple podcasts, Spotify etc.
